A major update was just released on the shocking death of Adan Manzano.
The Telemundo reporter who was found dead in a New Orleans hotel room just days before the Super Bowl had Xanax in his system at the time of his death, according to his toxicology report.
The 27-year-old reporter for Telemundo Kansas City was last spotted alive on security cameras as he was unknowingly being lured into a hotel room by the so-called “Bourbon Street Hustler” Danette Colbert, who was found with his cell phone and credit card in her home.
Adan Manzano’s body was found in a hotel in Kenner, a suburb west of New Orleans. It remains unclear when or how the substance was introduced into Manzano’s system.
It should be noted that the detective said the same drug was found at the residence of Danette Colbert.
Police detective Jeffrey Fitzmorris testified that the depressant is commonly used in thefts because it can cause amnesia.
A preliminary toxicology report showed Alprazolam in Mananzo’s system at the time of his death, KCTV reported on Tuesday.
Danette Colbert, the suspect arrested in connection with his death, is still being held without bond as the investigation into the reporter’s death unfolds.
Super Bowl Reporter Adan Manzano’s Alleged Killer Has Extensive Criminal History

Danette Colbert, who was arrested after the death of Super Bowl reporter Adan Manzano, has a lengthy criminal history.
It includes allegations of drugging men and stealing tens of thousands of dollars from them via cryptocurrency and other accounts linked to their phones.
Because of that, a judge denied her bond as court commissioners called her “a danger to society.”
For now, Colbert is charged with stealing the cell phone and credit cards of Kansas City Telemundo reporter Adan Manzano.
Xanax was found in Manzano’s autopsy.
