Erin Andrews shared a scary health update on Tuesday.

The 46-year-old NFL on FOX sideline reporter revealed some scary health news during her podcast, “Calm Down,” with her co-host, Charissa Thompson. Andrews, who is coming off a big 2024 NFL season – she helped call Super Bowl 59 in New Orleans – has been dealing with a painful situation on her lip.

Andrews, who attended the University of Florida as a team dancer, opened up about her pre-cancer situation during a podcast episode with Thompson.

Andrews, who is married to former NHL star Jarret Stoll, revealed that she’s dealing with a “pre-cancer” situation on her skin.

“It is so crusty and it really hurts,” Andrews told her co-host.

Thompson, 42, wanted viewers to know what Andrews was going through.

“For those of you that are new, Erin’s working through some… an issue on her upper lip, but it’s not what you think it is,” Thompson, 42, told their audience.

“It’s a pre-skin cancer situation. I did a cream for five days on it,” Andrews added.

“I went for the old — ‘Oh it’s a great idea until you get in the car’ skin check — the whole shebang… I wanted to pass out in the middle of it because I’m so afraid they’re going to find something.”

Andrews, who previously dealt with cervical cancer and fertility struggles, has unfortunately had no shortage of things to deal with. Thankfully, she’s battled through them all and been a pro while doing it. Andrews and her husband welcomed their first child, a son named Mack, via surrogate.

NFL fans are thinking of Andrews as she battles this latest health update.

“Hoping for a quick recovery—skin health is no joke,” one fan wrote.

“Early detection is key—wishing her the best in this fight,” one fan added.

While Andrews’ current situation isn’t believed to be serious, it’s good that she caught it early. And there’s always some serious anxiety and worry when it comes to these things.

We wish her the best during the NFL offseason.
