Miss America 2025 Abbie Stockard made her NBA debut Saturday night…sort of.

Stockard, who hails from Alabama and is a nursing student at Auburn University, is dating current Utah Jazz big man and former AU star Walker Kessler. The 22-year-old Stockard is a onetime Auburn cheerleader, and she has some dance moves as well. Stockard got to show them off last night when she performed alongside the Utah Jazz dance team.

Taking the court during the Jazz’s 113-99 win over the Orland Magic, Stockard showed off her dancing ability.

“#ThereSheIs 👑 We’re so excited to have @abbiestockard Miss America 2025 with us at today’s game ✨💜#TakeNote,” the Jazz wrote on IG.

Last month, Stockard, who was named Miss Alabama last summer, beat out 50 competitors for the title of Miss America and a $50,000 prize in scholarship money.

The normally stoic Kessler went viral on social media for his reaction to the announcement, and later congratulated Stockard in a heartfelt post on social media.

“Congratulations Abbie! I am so proud of you and everything you stand for,” he wrote in the caption. “Your hard work and trust in the Lord has awarded you with this incredible opportunity! Use your light to shine on others around you! Love you.”

Stockard has held the title for Miss America for a little less than a month, but she’s already been busy, appearing on Good Morning America, at the Daytona 500 and stopping by Donald Trump’s inauguration festivities in Washington, D.C., where she wore a “Make America Healthy Again” dress to one of the events.

“Miss America takes on D.C. 💜💜Honored to be here for a time that celebrates the values that bind us together as a nation,” she wrote.

Stockard will hold the title of Miss America for an entire year, which means a lot more public appearances.

We’re sure we’ll see her back at one of her boyfriend’s NBA games at a later date as well.
