Caitlin Clark's Wordless Reaction to Fever's Big Moves

It sure looks like Caitlin Clark is happy with the changes the Indiana Fever made to their roster in free agency.

Aside from keeping their co-top scorer Kelsey Mitchell, the Fever also signed WNBA veterans and multi-time champions Sydney Colson, Natasha Howard and DeWanna Bonner. Furthermore, Indiana brought in Jaelyn Brown and defensive star Brianna Turner, and traded for reliable shooter and guard Sophie Cunningham to add more depth to its squad.

While the Fever lost NaLyssa Smith, Katie Lou Samuelson, Erica Wheeler and Grace Berger in the process, there’s no denying that they significantly improved the roster. In fact, Bleacher Report put the team at No. 4 in its preseason power rankings after the big moves the franchise made.

After the Fever flexed their free agency and offseason moves on Saturday, Clark reposted the edited photo of her teammates and captioned it with several fire emojis.

While Clark didn’t write anything, it’s clear she’s hyped up for the franchise.

Last season, the Fever made the playoffs for the first time since 2016 after finishing with a 20-20 record. However, they lost to the Connecticut Sun in the first round, as their lack of experience and poor defense were exposed.

Sure enough, Indiana addressed those issues this offseason with their new additions while keeping the core of Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell intact.

That said, it’s no surprise why Clark is excited about what the future holds for the team.
